The Benefits of Voile Curtains

As well as being attractive to look at and lovely to touch, they also have a functional role, of course. For instance they can instantly add privacy to a room when hung alongside thicker custom made curtains. Yet, at the same time they will also allow in natural light. In order to have both a voile curtain and a heavier set of curtains it’s necessary to invest in a double rod. Either that or the voile curtains can be placed on a tension rod which is then just attached to the sides of the window frame itself.

They are also incredibly useful for those who enjoy growing plants indoors. That’s because placing a flower pot or herbs etc on a window sill with a voile curtain attached to the frame, means the plants will benefit from the daylight but won’t be damaged by direct contact with the light, which can often prove too strong for a plant.
